Makeup Studio Art
Every morning when you wake up, ask yourself, how can I be more like this girl?
Or more precisely, how will I spread general badass-ness today? More beauty? How will I hang or how high will I hold my head today? This print I found on Fab.com by Charmaine Olivia. I loved the print so much I had it professionally framed in NYC. It's traveled all the way to San Diego with me and right now it's hanging over my makeup table in my new makeup studio. And I've also added two little buddies! The first is by, @unskilledworker, an artist I found via Pat McGrath's Instagram. I couldn't find a print to buy, so I just made one in photoshop and printed it up.
The second little print I picked up is by Garance Doré from Riffle Paper Co. Garance also has a bunch of other cute colabo products with Riffle Paper Co.
Both prints are framed in an Ikea Ribba Frame.
Oooo... and Riffle Paper Co. had free shipping for orders over $75... sooo... I picked up these magnetic list pads and note cards that I've been dying to have to send to my clients! They are too cute!!! A tip that I learned- to write on the gold envelopes, you'll need a special paint pen like this sharpie. Otherwise the marker looks grey and sheer. Updates next week on the rest of the makeup sutdio and also on the lighting system that has taken me MONTHS to perfect!
