10 Year High School Reunion Makeup

We all take different approaches to our 10 year high school reunions. I think it's because we all had very different high school experiences. When my client, Sofie, asked me if I could do her makeup for her reunion on Saturday, she was very clear about the specific goals she had in mind. "I don't want to look like I'm trying too hard, but I want to look my best," says Sofie. We tried to find a balance between prettiness and sophistication- and in turn we produced a very subtle sexy look.
-On Sofie's eyes we decided to keep it very sophisticated and subtle. Essentially we did a smokey eye, but very lightly and matte. For her brows we used Birch eyeshadow wet with Evian water. Ivory shadow from brow bone to lash line, Cement long wear cream shadow on her lower lids, black gel eyeliner very thin, then we smudged the liner with caviar shadow. 3 individual bunches of lashes on her outer corners and L'oreal voluminous waterproof mascara.
-For her skin we used a light hand and didn't make the cheeks too bright. Light bisque corrector, beige concealer, Warm Sand Skin foundation (it's so good!), Golden light bronzer, Pink Sugar blush, Laura Mercier Invisible powder.
-Lips, Mod pink and Rosy gloss.
Thank you so much Sofie! It was such a blast working with you! -Lindsey xoxo
